Poor Durability

"2 multi day hikes in and the material just hasn't held up. A video showcase stated it held up to tougher scrub but after just 2 short multi day hikes, there are lots of imperfections in the material, dwr replenishes don't do the job like it should after this short period, it doesn't look remotely new. I'm highly disappointed, I now understand why Kathmandu has lost so many sales, even with all this gorpcore stuff trending. Do not get, you don't have to look far to get something high performance that lasts."

“Weight is the standout. For a 3-layer shell it feels super light. I was really surprised how light it is.”

It performed better than I was expecting. I’m used to a much heavier shell, so going to an ultralight rain jacket was a bit of a leap for me, but it held up really well in the few hours I had it on in heavy rain.

For lightweight missions where I’m on a track, speed is key, and I’m watching weight, this is perfect. Compared to other lightweight rain jackets in my kit, I’d pick this one. It doesn’t feel as clammy, it feels a bit sturdier, and it’s about the same weight, if not lighter. I’ll be picking it over my other ultralight shells.
