"I bought this to replace the one on my 10-year old Kathmandu hydration bladder. At first, I thought it might be narrower than the old one and not fit, but once I'd removed the old valve, the interior dimension of the tube is a fair bit smaller than the exterior and the new valve fitted perfectly (plus once inserted there's some refraction which makes it look bigger than it is). Please note it is green, not orange like the picture, which wasn't unexpected considering all the current bladders have green valves, though orange would have been great to match my old bladder seal. It has a turn on/off function (my picture is in open position) and the cap clips on securely. Great water flow and being round means you don't have to position the hose exactly to be able to grab a quick drink."

- Any guidance on how to swap the old one out for the new valve? Old one is solidly lodged and won't budge. Don't want to damage the tube, so any recommendations on how to remove it would be appreciated.
