A seam-sealed two layer that's both wind and waterproof, you'll feel well protected under the hood. The main recycled polyester fabric is softer - and quieter when rustling your jacket into its pocket. You'll find it a piece of cake to stuff-up and throw into your pack after the downpour passes.
