"I purchased as carry on luggage great capacity. But poor design as the bag doesn’t stand up, the bottom is narrower than the top. I nearly tripped over on a couple of occasions while on a 1 month trip to South America."

"Bought a 38l five years ago when I first started travelling with only hand luggage. Fantastic. Lent to several friends who subsequently bought their own (38l or 48l). Left my first one with a friend in London in Sept who loved mine and purchased this new one - easy, lightweight, robust, comfortable … and I’m in my late 60s."
Really bad design - very little useable room.
"Looks good, amazingly dysfunctional. Top pocket design means you lose a significant amount of space in the main compartment. As a result, you can't fit much in these things at all, so they're useless as a weekender. Kathmandu have tried to make this everything to everyone with backpack straps, laptop compartments etc, and it's ended up being nothing useful to most people. Do yourself a favour and spring for the Patagonia version - much simpler, more sensible layout. Thankfully we bought ours on sale."
Perfect size and kept weight down
"I used this bag as my only luggage for a 2 month trip through Japan and kept weight at around 16kg. The only downside is the top compartment which opens toward the back, not the front. I lost a puffa jacket as it must've rolled out when the pack was on a hotel floor. Other than that, am about to purchase another one for my partner as we head off for more travels!"

Flawed design
"One major flaw is that when the bag is on the ground flat, the small compartment opens towards the back so your stuff falls out. You have to flip the bag the wrong way up or up vertical to take your stuff out then flip it back again to get stuff out of the main compartment. Everything else is great apart from that one big annoyance."
Good but harness uncomfortable. . .
"Great bag especially for the price when on sale. I was ready to buy 2x but I didn't because the straps are too close to each other at the top seams so they bite at the nek!"

"I have had one since 2018 and taken it on so many trips. SO versatile for business trips or weekend trips. It's been stuffed full and no zip failures! About to get a second one for a family member."

"Chose this bag because it opens like a suitcase and can be worn like a backpack. I’m very much a senior, I pack the standard 5 undies/4tops/3bottoms2footwear/1coat + numerous misc items. Love the separate open storage at the top I use for sponge bag/wallet/sweets. Has been on twk riad trips, its a keeper"
