"Hard disagree with reviews saying these are comfortable. Its standard insoles are flat and hard, and underneath is unfinished padding, so you'll *need* to buy functional insoles before you hit the trail. Apparently my recession indicator is ordering shoes that require additional purchases before I use them."
"Perfect shoes for any occasion, feels like I'm walking on air and yet I can still perfectly feel the earth below me feet? it strange but very nice. Only issue is that the shoe laces untie somewhat regularly. ill have to tie them tighter. And I wish they had a zipper so its easier to take off and put on but not a deal breaker for how comfortable they are, Defiantly recommend, -Z"
"The most comfortable boots I've ever owned. I was hesitant about getting the Brindle/Canteen colour because of the white collar and trim that's pictured. But the boots actually have a black collar and brown trim. The store has the wrong picture on their site. Glad I took a chance on these. They're quality boots with good space in the toebox, true to size, and comfy right out of the box like I'd already broken them in, not something I can say about most boots I've had."
"These are most first pair of hiking shoes. I originally had gone for a clearance pair of Oboz, but once they arrived they were too squishy around my toes, even a full size bigger than normal. So I returned them and tried some of these Keens, they were a bit more expensive, about $260, but boy there were a better fit, nice roomy up the front. I'm not normally a wide wearing fit but I ended up with the 10. 5, probably half a size up than normal with my thick merino socks. I used them on a 2 day hike in and out to the Cape Brett hut and my feet fared very well indeed, I was impressed. Hopefully they give me many more years of service."
