"I used this after the grangers water proofing in a front loader per the instructions. I washed only 1 Kathmandu branded garment at a time. I really didn't get any beading of water on the garments after treatment, it sort of spreads out just the same as prior to treatment. Originally the garment had a nice beading effect. So either this stuff is not repairing/ restoring the DWR to anything like the original, or the prior Grangers cleaner is not preparing the garments properly, or the whole thing is scam. Pretty disappointing because this stuff isn't cheap and it’s a lot of mucking around. Suggest trying another brand."

Is this suitable for a down polyester jacket?
Yes it is
Is this suitable for waterproofing walking boots?
we recommend using Grangers G Wax on leather boots and Grangers Footwear Repel Plus on synthetic boots.
Is this suitable for treating wool coats?
This is designed for wet weather gear and no mention of how this preforms on wool so I would not recommend this for woollen coats.
