WHO CAN ENTER?
Entry is open to Australian and New Zealand residents aged 16 years or over. If you are under 18, you need parent or legal guardian approval to enter.

WHERE IS THE PROMOTION RUN?
The promotion runs online at www.kathmandu.com.au and www.kathmandu.co.nz. It is not available on the Kathmandu App or any other site. You can participate using both mobile and desktop browsers.

HOW DO I ENTER?        

• Visit the Kathmandu AU or NZ website during the promotional period.
• Search for a hidden discount code across the site.
• Select the items you would like to purchase and add them to your bag.
• Once a hidden discount code is located, copy it, enter the code at checkout and complete the transaction.
• If you find and redeem a valid code, you will instantly see the prize you have won on screen.

DO I NEED TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT TO ENTER?
No, you do not need an account to enter. However, we recommend creating an account and joining our Kathmandu Out There Rewards Program. Members receive exclusive discounts, birthday surprises, and special perks.

WHERE ARE THE PRIZES HIDDEN?
The codes will be hidden randomly across the sites and will consist of a 6-8 digit alphanumeric discount codes.

DO I NEED TO COMPLETE A PURCHASE TO CLAIM THE PRIZE?
Yes. You must have an item in your cart and complete the transaction, including making payment, to receive the discount.

HOW DO I KNOW WHAT MY DISCOUNT IS?

The value of the discount associated with the code will only be revealed when you enter the code at checkout.

HOW MANY TIMES CAN I ENTER?
You can enter the promotion multiple times, however you can only redeem one discount code per qualifying transaction. 
 

HOW DO I KNOW IF A CODE IS STILL VALID BEFORE
CHECKOUT?
When you enter your code at checkout, it will apply automatically if valid and show your discount. You will see the following error messages if you enter an incorrect/invalid/expired code:

a)      Wrong code: Please enter a valid discount code.

b)    Expired code: This discount code has expired and is no longer valid.

c)     All codes have been redeemed: This discount code has already been used the maximum number of times and is no longer valid.

d)    Code not applied due to existing offer in bag: This discount code cannot be used in conjunction with other offers. To apply this code please remove any promotional offers from your bag.

WHAT IF I AM HALF-WAY THROUGH MY TRANSACTION AND SOMEONE ELSE USES THE CODE?
Codes are on a first come first used basis. If you have not completed your purchase and the code is redeemed by another entrant, you will not be able to use that code. Codes are valid only until they are successfully redeemed at checkout. You can continue searching for another hidden code during the promotional period.

DO I NEED TO KEEP PROOF OF PURCHASE FOR VERIFICATION?
No. You do not need to keep proof of purchase for this promotion. Your entry is verified through the discount code redemption at checkout. Once your transaction is complete, your discount is confirmed.

Prizes are discounts that are revealed when you enter a hidden code at checkout.

For Australian residents:

a) The Prize is a $500 discount — Value: AU $500, Quantity: 4
b) The Prize is a $250 discount — Value: AU $250, Quantity: 4
c) The Prize is a $100 discount — Value: AU $100, Quantity: 10
d) The Prize is a $50 discount — Value: AU $50, Quantity: 50
e) The Prize is a $20 discount — Value: AU $20, Quantity: 100
f) The Prize is a $10 discount — Value: AU $10, Quantity: 14,850

For New Zealand residents:

a) The Prize is a $500 discount — Value: NZ $500, Quantity: 3
b) The Prize is a $250 discount — Value: NZ $250, Quantity: 2
c) The Prize is a $100 discount — Value: NZ $100, Quantity: 5
d) The Prize is a $50 discount — Value: NZ $50, Quantity: 20
e) The Prize is a $20 discount — Value: NZ $20, Quantity: 80
f) The Prize is a $10 discount — Value: NZ $10, Quantity: 5,008

HOW DO I KNOW IF A CODE IS VALID?
You will be notified instantly on screen when you enter the discount code at checkout, however you must complete the transaction to claim the discount code.

WHAT ARE THE CONDITIONS FOR USING DISCOUNT CODES?

• Codes can only be redeemed online on the AU and NZ sites during the promotional period.
• Codes cannot be used to buy gift cards or e-gift cards.
• Codes cannot be combined with Out There Rewards vouchers.
• Only one code per transaction. The highest value code will apply.
• Codes do not cover shipping costs. Non-Out There Rewards members pay shipping regardless of discount value.
• Any unused portion of a discount will be forfeited.  Discount codes cannot be redeemed for cash, credit, or future purchases.
• Codes expire at the end of the promotional period, which is 11:59 pm AEDT/NZDT on 1 December 2025. Codes cannot be used after this time.
• If you do not redeem a code in time, another entrant may use it.
•  Once redeemed or fully allocated, the code cannot be claimed again.
•  Codes must not be published on discount sites or shared with others. 

CAN I RETURN OR EXCHANGE ITEMS PURCHASED WITH A DISCOUNT CODE? 

Yes. Items bought using a discount code can be returned or exchanged in accordance with our Returns Policy.

Refunds will be processed to your original payment method; store credits will not be issued. The value of the discount will not be refunded when items are returned and only the amount paid for the transaction will be refunded. 

If you only return part of your order, the discount will be applied proportionately to all items and the value of the discount code will be deducted proportionate to the value of the item(s) being returned. For example:

Items purchased:T-shirt: $30, Jacket:$60, Socks: $10

Purchase price before discount
code: $100

Discount code value: $10

Amount paid: $90

When returning the Jacket, $54 will be refunded, calculated as $60 (product price) - $6 (proportionate value of discount).

Subject to availability, exchanges for a different colour, size or style can be made in-store. If the replacement item is of a higher value, additional payment will be required. If you exchange for a lower value item, no additional amount will be refunded.
