"Rubber had disintegrated on the wheels of my hybrid bag. Easy to purchase replacement, fortunately. Not that easy to fit. A bit fiddly, but ok. Easy order and quick postage"

"They're wheels. They're round. They fit our trolleys. What's cool about this is the sheer fact that we were able to easily source them and replace the one component that had broken on two trolleys after many years of hard use. Most other suitcases would have given up years ago, or had something break that couldn't be replaced. The fact these were available is great."

Lifesaver - bag will last another 12 years
"Thank you so much Kathmandu for providing replacement parts like these wheels. I absolutely hate throwing things away (especially big items like bags) so I was going to keep this bag forever anyway. The replacement wheels are a little thicker than the original wheels (I bought my bag in 2014) but they do just fit. I found the wheels online and picked them up in store. I watched the tutorial video, but it still took me a while to figure out how to unscrew the wheels! I guess I haven’t done anything like this before. It turns out you need to tightly hold on to the nut with the spanner, while using the allen key to unscrew the wheel from the outside. Then it comes off easily. Keep the nut and the washer to reuse for the new wheels. Add the new wheels and screw in from the outside the same way they were unscrewed (eg. holding onto the nut on the inside with the spanner). All done and ready to go another 12+ years!"

"Good but needs to come with bolts, nuts and washers. Older Hybrid bag bolts are a little short for these new model wheels."

"The new wheels seem to be a better quality than the old ones and although no hint of any instructions came with them, the process of replacing them was reasonably intuitive. The slightly modified design of the new wheels meant that the axels were only just long enough to and I could not see anywhere that sold longer ones"

- I require a replacement bolt for my hybrid travel bag, is it possible to purchase one?
- Kia ora Barry, Which version on the Hybrid Trolley do you have there? Was it purchased under a membership? If so what is the email or membership number then I can track down the transaction that will have this information on there. Sometimes customers are able to get replacement bolts from Bunnings. - What is the actual size of the wheels in the Hybrid Trolley replacement wheel set? I have Kathmandu wheeled luggage which has wheels that are 75mm in diameter - just shed their rubber tyre.
- The replacement wheels have a 75mm diameter.
