"I bought this jacket to go on a 4 week trip round USA and Canada in November/December. I also bought the Heli down vest and wore them together on very cold days- but usually the jacket was enough, both are very lightweight so easily worn together. I loved the longer length. Jacket folds up easily, but unlike the vest, doesn’t fold into its own pocket, luckily I had a bag from another puffa jacket which I used."

The jacket is very lightweight,
"The jacket is very lightweight, and has a good shape when you wear it. It packs small as well. It runs big, so it easy enough to layer up underneath. I wore it for two weeks in December in Japan and it was fine for the winter weather as long as I wore inner thermals (just normal winter, not snow). The jacket does shed a bit though, even after just a couple of days of wear. I had feathers on my inners and had to pick them off the jacket as well. This continued for two weeks of wear. I love the versatility of the jacket and am unsure if shedding is a normal part of a down jacket or not. My daughter’s Macpac down jacket didn’t shed at all."
