"Took it for an overnight hike and stay in a hut in the Nelson Lakes National Park. The pack itself is light, I like the trampoline back for keeping cool and dry, and the adjustable back length. I had to tweak the fit and straps a bit at first but once I got it right the weight distribution was good and it didn't feel like I was carrying 12kg of stuff all day while stepping over tree roots and rocks. The hip pockets for snacks and hankies are great."

"Im turning 60 and I have never been on an overnight night tramp. So, I decided that now is the time to start. I wanted to get a pack that's going to be the right size, that I can carry even when I'm 85! So for my 60th we decided to do the Abel Tasman National Park walk. I can honestly say that my new Kathmandu pack exceeds any expectations. I don't like carrying a pack, but I never noticed it on my back, everything fitted, worked and felt just right! Being a slightly smaller pack, I can't be tempted to overfill it, making it a good size to carry. I think that when I'm 85, I will look at my pack and remember buying it for my 60th, and then remember how many trips it, and me have been on since then!"
"Before my purchase I went into my local Kathmandu store just looking at backpacks and the person working at the store asked if he could help me, as I haven't done much hiking but have a very long walk planned for next year he helped me with the pack that I was looking at, fitting and adjusting it for me and then talked to me about the importance the correct fit for me and suggested that I try the women's version and explained the differences about the way the shoulder straps and hip belt fitted for someone small like me giving me a much better fit, it is a very comfortable backpack and the quality is there with it being well made. Ten out of ten to for the service and advice I received."
"I too had GREAT service from 2 sales people. When the first one thought her manager cld help me better she took me to him and he fitted the pack to me. Haven't used the pack yet, but it's super light. Looking forward to using it and will try to remember to come back and review it once I've used it. . . Won't be using it for a good 3 months, but the discount was so good I just grabbed it."
