"I have had these a couple of months now and use them for walking the dog across the field and on concrete. Very comfortable and fully waterproof. Very supportive and I am very happy with the purchase"

"I started using these boots 4-5 years ago and find them super comfortable straight out of the box. I work as a professional night shooter so wear these boots 4-5 nights per week and find these boots last about 12-18 months but they do a heaps of miles so I reckon they are great value for money compared to some of the more expensive boots that take a lot of breaking in to feel comfortable and don't last as long"

"I'm a lawn contractor and brought these boots 6 months ago. The sole on one is coming off. Took them into Kathmandu Pukekohe and spoke with Shelly the manager. She was very rude and told me they're not covered to be used for work and are designed for hiking. I questioned her rationale as didn't get the difference. When I brought these boots I told the assistant what I intended to use them for as wanted a comfortable boot and asked how ling they should last. Was told at least 12 months. Have just called Kathmandu and was told they can't overturn the store decision. My point is why would I spend $220 and not get a decent warranty?"

Good boots (so far) great price!
"Needed a new pair of boots to replace my worn out great Meindl's but was coughing at the $799 so when saw these on the rack for for sale price of $140 thought just about too good to true. So, bought a pair with pretty low expectations but feel real happy with my purchase so far. Certainly, they are not Meindl's but they are a lot better than so other supposed top brands made in the same neck of the woods. They are very warm and I would be surprised anyone ever getting blisters with the soft lining although need to keep the upper lacing tight to make sure the heel is well captured when the boot is new. They are a bit "clompy" as they dont flex fore/aft that well but are getting better as they age. They are not waterproof, just prolonged walking in mild wet conditions water seeps in somewhere around the sole area (I had already bombed them with Sno-seal when new) . They are just as heavy as my old boots - size 11 UK comes in at 900gms per BOOT! (size 10. 5 would have been better for me but no stock). I don't think they will last for-ever but neither will I."
