Not waterproof!
"This jacket looks great, fits great, feels great but I was drenched within the first few minutes in moderate rain. It would be fine for compulsory gear in a dry place where it's unlikely you would need to wear it but was absolutely useless on the west coast. Yes it's seam sealed, no it's not waterproof or even water resistant."

Great running jacket!
"Tried on and fitted beautifully. Really efficient sizing for running short or long distances - particularly easy to pack away for off-trail running in the hills!"

Light jacket
"Light jacket more like a shirt, good in the wind, doubt it could be rainproof"

Great features for runners, minor flaws
"I bought this specifically for running in Scottish weather because it has features that are surprisingly hard to find: a 'chest snap' for venting, a decent stowable hood, thumb loops, and underarm vents. The Good: The fit is great, has a slightly boxy cut which leaves room for layering, rather than the tight 'slim fit'. The chest snap is a brilliant idea; it lets you unzip the front for airflow without the jacket flailing around. The hood is solid; the elastic cinch keeps it secure in the wind, and while a stiffer peak would be a bonus, it works well. The waterproofing passed my shower test with zero ingress, the shell works well to effectively block rain and wind chill. The Bad (Feedback for Kathmandu): Poor Reflectivity: For a white/light jacket, the lack of reflective details is a real safety oversight for UK winters. Vents need to be bigger: The pit vents are present but too small for high-output running. In humid Scottish air, it’s difficult to dump heat fast enough, leading to that damp internal feeling. Full pit-zips or larger mesh panels would help this tremendously. Maybe add a back ventilation flap while we're on the subject. Verdict: Overall, I’m impressed. This jacket is an underdog compared to big-name brands that often lack practical features that make the difference with a shell jacket. It handles the elements well, but with better ventilation and added reflectivity for night safety, it would definitely be a 5-star piece of gear."

On the surface: has great
"On the surface: has great features, fits well, looks nice, lightweight In reality: wore it for a 30mins run, and I was SOAKED after not even 15mins. Very disappointing. . . . Shame for a waterproof jacket to not even be waterproof."

Men's Seeker 2. 5L Rain Jacket - Steel Grey
"Haven't tried it yet but looks great on first inspection. Very light. Got it a size larger than usual so as to fit over bulky layers"

Great jacket
"All running rain jackets are a compromise between weight, breathability, rain-proofing and durability. It might not be perfect in all respects, but as a compromise, it's very good."

Poor
"Barely shower proof, wore it first time on a 2hr walk in occasional rain and was wet through."

It misses the mark
"This jacket has some standout features and initial impressions are great. It’s true to size, the white colour looks fantastic, and the overall build quality and finish are impressive details like the zippers, seams, and fabric all feel premium. Shipping was also impressively fast. However, when it comes to functionality, there are some key issues. While the attention to detail is mostly excellent, the four buttons meant to tuck away the hood are poorly executed. . fiddly, hard to manage, and a clear weak point in the design. Another issue is the packability. The jacket is advertised as packing into its zip chest pocket, but doing so is a struggle. It barely fits, and you feel like you're forcing it to the point of possibly damaging the jacket. Weight-wise, it’s heavier than many other jackets in the same category, which makes it less ideal for longer or ultralight trips. The waterproofing and breathability are also not quite as advertised. On paper, 10k/30k sounds decent, but in practice, the jacket doesn’t hold up well in anything beyond light rain. . it begins to dampen quickly. During active use, it also traps a lot of condensation, so breathability is a letdown. Would I recommend it? Only if you're in a pinch due to budget or need something last minute. There are better-performing jackets out there. Kathmandu clearly put effort into the design and aesthetics, but the actual usability and performance need improvement."
