Providing both shelter from the sun and wind protection, our Retreat Beach Shelter is suitable for families, and is the perfect accessory when camping, picnic dining, or spending time at the beach. This large free-standing beach shelter also has an extendable floor that can be closed off by zipping shut (with lockable zips). UVE 95%+ This main woven shade fabric provides 95%+ UV protection according to AS 4174. High UVE ratings should not be relied upon as the only form of sun protection. - This woven shade fabric provides 95%+ UV protection according to AS 4174. When shade fabric is used for purposes such as shade structures for human protection, the ultraviolet effectiveness (UVE) may not be an accurate guide to the protection provided and may be less than the measured value due to factors including variations in design, height and size of shade structures, stretching of the fabric, the distance of the fabric from the persons, the direction of sunlight, and the physical location of the persons within the shade structures (e.g. at the edge or at the centre).
