I have had a few
"I have had a few pares of these boots, they seen to last the longest for the type of walk/hiking I do every day. About 1 to 1 1/2 hrs everyday on rough/uneven hilly terrain. I have had other brands with little success."

"I bought Oboz for the first time in 2020. . . . 8 identical pairs later I'm still impressed. However this last purchase annoyed as I learnt that they are no longer made and I had to search high and low and internationally looking for a pair the right size and color. . . I settled with black. Please put these back into production. . . . without any changes. I buy a pair a of mid-boot and shoes each time I made the previous purchase."

"These boots gave me plantar fasciitis in both feet. Took me a while to work out there were the problem. Switched to Salomon and it fixed the problem almost immediately. The compound sole also falls apart - see photo. Only a pity I can't give 0 stars. Give these boots a miss."

"Purchased these to do a three day hike with a 20kg pack, very disappointed. The laces kept coming undone under the gaiters. Due to the round construction and thickness the laces wouldn't bite down to stop them from becoming loose. The outer sole though rugged is way too hard and almost brittle. I felt every step with a 20kg pack and my feet took the brunt. The inner sole offered no support or protection and by the end of day one was as flat as a piece of paper. I didn't get to test out the waterproofing but the breathability was put to the test and failed dismally. I used the recommended kathmandu hiking socks and even with this highly priced combination my feet were wet from the start to the finish. So yes very disappointed I should have stuck with what I knew and gone the Merrell Moabs."

"Love this boot, want to buy another pair of 10UK Wide but there are none available in my area! I've used mine for work, sport and just want another pair. Terrific for being on your feet for a long period too. Please, Please find me a pair. The wide fit is brilliant"

"Comfortable and look good. Haven't put them to any real work yet,but have a few Kathmandu items which have never let me down. Got in on sale too, bonus."

"Worn daily for last 6 weeks on the farm. Comfortable and holding up well, but they're are not at all water proof. They are wet right though just working in damp grass 😞"

"A comfortable boot. However the tread on mine wore down quickly on scree and moraine. Then, after a couple of years the glue holding the tread to the welt let go and the tread peeled off. Fortunately this happened in the garden and not in the mountains. Brought a new pair on "special" for $209. 00 then found the price had been reduced to $129. 00. Unlike other retailers, Kathmandu does not do price guarantees. Later, I found I could get the original pair repaired for $35. 00. If they were better made they would be worth the full price of $300. 00. However as it is they are essentially another piece of expensive garbage you are expected to throw away after a few years. So, yes, they are comfortable enough but don't trust an older pair for an extended trip into the mountains."

"Very comfy, sturdy waterproof boot for a great price on special I usually wear US12, but these boots are slightly narrower, so I ended up with US13"
— Nigel E. (5/5)
"Great boot , also have a black pair as well, but I wasn’t aware that they came in 2 different widths . They are very comfortable right out of the box"
