"I’m about to use my new hybrid trolley - it’s packed and waiting. Like the 50l size for a change - it easily stored 6 weeks of clothing to visit 7 countries. The updated pockets are good and well positioned straps keep it neat. We have used Kathmandu hybrid trolleys for years and haven’t used the back pack straps yet - they are a nice to have. Like the colour, design and strength of this trolley and I know we’ll have good times together!"

"I did a heap of research before buying this product. Initially I was going to get the larger size, but then realised there is no way I could carry it as a backpack when full. So far I have done one trip to Thailand with this 50L size and could fit everything in it easily ( plus shopping!). I only used it as a backpack once and it wasn't a problem - its fine to do for a short time, but wouldn't be so comfortable for long periods of walking. The good thing is there is a waistband (though not padded). I only wish there was a handle on both sides of the pack, and a lower compression straps on the sides as well. It seems weird there isn't. . The shoulder straps and waistband and tuck away really well and its easy to do. The wheels coped well for when I pulled it along, though its the first trip so I don't know how they will hold up over time. I was able to place my extra carrybag over the pull handle and is stayed in pace just fine. I think this is a great option if you want to use it like a suitcase 90% of the time and use it as a backpack for short periods - rough pavements, steps, stairs, cobblestones when the wheels might not cope so well. I've be definitely using it for my future overseas adventures."
