"Snapped up this on sale: Goretex for under $200 is a great price and jacket is well made too. Took it on our West Coast wilderness bike trip and as expected its waterproof abilities were put to the test: all good. Light, fits well, functional hood and closures. Happy and dry."

"The GORE-TEX outer shell is excellent—completely waterproof and a great fit. However, the internal mesh lining is far too delicate. It constantly catches on the jacket’s own Velcro fasteners, leading to significant snagging and pilling after very little use. For a premium jacket, the interior materials should be much more durable."
