Gemma McCaw has been part of the XT Series journey from early development through to real use on the trail.
“The team took me through all the early iterations. Really understanding what they were trying to develop and the gap they were filling.”
Bringing Gemma in early was intentional. She spends a lot of time outdoors in different ways, and that perspective helps shape how we think about fit, function, and what actually works especially for women. It’s something we’ll keep building on in future ranges.
From there, the thinking moved out of the room and onto the trail. Gemma wore the system over months, not just on one trip, but repeatedly, across different conditions.

XT Series 40L Pack
One piece that stood out immediately to Gemma was the XT Series 40L Pack.
“This is easily my favourite piece. Exceptionally light and tough. I’d have zero hesitation pushing it through rough terrain.”
That confidence comes down to how it’s built and how it carries. Lightweight, but not stripped back. Structured enough to hold its shape, with the durability you notice when you’re moving through tighter tracks, over rock, or packing for longer days.
