Questions & Answers
How do I change the combination on my Kathmandu combination lock? It is currently fixed in the open position at right angles to the lock. Thanks.
Asked by: King Col
Instructions:
1. Turn the dials and align the opening combination numbers inside the side windows to 0-0-0 and pull out the shackle.
2. Pull up the shackle and turn 90° counter-clockwise to align the projections with the notch 90° position of the body
3. Press the shackle and turn a further 90° counter-clockwise (180°) so that the shackle is aligned with the side window
4. Turn the dials to set the desired combination.
5. Turn the shackle back to 90° notch and pull out the shackle. The reset is complete.

Rubbish productI just bought these today, followed the instructions and found the bar was locked in the 90 degree position and no matter what I did I couldn't get the bar to unlock. Ive had a look online and found this is a common complaint from over 7 years ago and Kathmandu is still selling this rubbish. Thats was $40 wasted, straight into the bin and I'ii go to another retailer to buy something thats not junk.

Easy to useUsed these travelling over the past 3 weeks. Easy to use and worked well. I like that they are small and unobtrusive.

Easy to use little lockA good little luggage lock - obviously a lock like this shouldn't be counted on for securing anything important, but better than nothing at all.
It's nice to not have a key to worry about (and keys this small are pointless anyway)
