    Find your shoe size

Use a ruler to measure the length of your foot, from your longest toe to the back of your heel. Take the longest measurement and add a few millimetres for comfort or socks (which may be thick if you’re choosing hiking boots). Then look up your size in the size chart.

Tiber Women's ngx Leather Hiking Boots is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 40.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good all round boots I bought these boots for a hike around mt ruapehu (the round the mt track). These boots dont look as technical as some around but you know they are built tough when they are leather and have minimal extra seams. They performed well tramping through a few shallow streams and keeping my feet dry. They were tough leather so despite getting a few scrapes they were not glaringly scuffed. The only criticism I have is that the fasteners were too rough on the laces when I was trying to get my boss done up tight and have started to fray the laces in places. Good deal as I got in on the sale a while ago and loved that it was free shipping! Thanks kathmandu.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Highly disappointed I brought these a Oct/Nov 2014, and have worn them approximately 6 times trying to wear them in. They are reasonable comfortable for the first hour or so of bush walking, however after that I find the soles of my feet become very sore as most of my walks are for 4-6 hours at a time, so by the time I get back to my car I can't get them off fast enough. I am very disappointed with this due to the fact they are expensive and are now going to be thrown out in the next rubbish collection. Bush walking shouldn't hurt so much... The one positive thing about these boots are they have kept my feet dry when walking through shallow creeks.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from disappointing waterproofing I have had these boots for a year now and have used them quite a lot. They are extremely comfortable but the inner lining is now ripping and coming away from the boot which is uncomfortable. My main issue is the waterproofing through. The fabric sides of the tongue make it impossible for these boots to actually be waterproof. The mens version has leather around the tongue so I'm unsure why women apparently don't need dry feet? The actual leather waterproofing completely rubbed off after around 8 months, even with leather conditioner and care. The leather now soaks in water, even from rain. I would highly suggest purchasing a pair of goretex boots instead which are a similar price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 4wd shoes! I bought these early last year and they have been awesome! From local bushwalking to walking the Overland track in Tasmania, these shoes have taken me everywhere without a blister in sight. They have amazing grip and walking through creeks is no problem as my feet remain dry and comfortable. I've been through many boots previous to these and I'm finding even after heavy usage they are still as good as new. I would highly recommend these boots for comfort and durability.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My ticket to EVERYWHERE I purchased these boots about two months ago.... BEST decision. After trying many different boots, these were incredibly comfortable. The design is pretty seam-free so you don't get any nasty rubbing or problems. The day after I bought them I completed a tough 21km mountain hike.... no breaking in required. They have since been all around Central Australia, the Simpson Desert and Victorian hiking areas. I am so happy I purchased these resilient, quality and comfortable boots. Worth the investment.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lining in heels of boots disintegrated. I bought these boots to walk the 800km Camino Track in Spain. In addition to that I have done a few other short walks. In total I would have walked less than 1000km in these boots. Whilst I found the boots to be comfortable and waterproof, the internal lining in the heel area of both boots has disintegrated. This is particularly disappointing as both the soles and the boot itself are still in excellent condition. I note in other comments above that several people have had the same issue with the women's boots, the men's version seemingly having a far superior lining. These boots are not cheap and the most expensive boots I have ever owned and I expected them to last me for a few years at least. I have never had this problem before with any other boots I have owned. Complaints to the store I purchased them from and Kathmandu itself bought me no satisfaction.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Boots! I bought these boots in Jan 2015. I'm normally a size 38 (UK 5) and after wearing them around the house, they hurt my toes, so I swapped them for the next size up - what a difference. After breaking them in around the house, and on a couple of short walks I took them out on their first proper hike (only 4 hours each way, but with full overnight pack) and they were so comfy. Great boots so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super comfortable, great price (in the sale) Ordered these as have never owned a pair of hiking boots before and were reasonably priced in the sale. They are super comfortable and I didn't even need to wear them in. They arrived in the morning and I was hiking up Mt John (Lake Tekapo) the same afternoon. No blisters! Now had them a month or so and really please with them; waterproof and warm. (yet to wear on a hot day....)
