Great Hiking ShoesI bought these shoes specifically for hiking as I wanted something that was going to give me great grip on the sole, all-around support, and would be good for day hikes where a hiking boot wasn't necessary.
The instore service at Kathmandu St Lukes was great and the staff were very helpful in fitting me properly and discussing what shoes were going to best meet my needs.
I wore these shoes for the Tongariro Crossing - and with next to no wear in they were incredibly comfortable and I had no blisters at the end of the day. Highly recommend - make sure you wear quality merino socks with them!

Great in the bushI brought these shoes a couple of weeks ago. They have been great for all sorts of different walking tracks and have great traction. They have taken a little while for me to break in, have a blister on one foot. But nothing a band aid doesn’t fit. Aside for this my feet never get sore, fantastic support.

Great supportI have a broken bone in my foot. These shoes provide great support, are very comfortable and prevent my foot from swelling. These are the second pair that ive purchased and I couldn't be happier

Most watertight shoe for walkingThis is my second pair of these, the first pair was 3 years ago. I like the quick lace and the fact that of all the brands I've tried, they remain waterproof for the longest - you'd think dog walking is not a stressful activity for shoes, but it does really test their strength in the urban environment of concrete footpaths, gravel tracks, park grass and 'suburban bush'. The first pair I got would have got 5 stars, these lose a star as the material used has changed and is more plastic-like rather than fabric-like, they feel stiffer in comparison. Also the pocket that the tab for the quicklace should go in is way too tight such that I can't actually get it in there when the shoes are on, I never had this problem with the older pair. However, they are still comfortable and perform as expected.

I am disappointed . They are very heavy and have awful blisters under my ankle bones ..... I went to Nike yesterday and bought shoes ... infinitely better ... can I return them to Kathmandu for an exchange ????
