Questions & Answers

Just wondering where does it made and how big is the sleeping area and can we not to put the ground sheet?

Asked by: JoeJoe333
The tent is made in China. Sleeping Area is 180cm wide and 220cms deep. We measure not all the way to the end because you can't put your feet in a tight spot where it angles right down but this length gives you space to be higher on a camp stretcher. Ground sheet is fixed, images online show the front area is for living, the very front part can be rolled back to create a tub floor in the living area, key to keep rain out. Or roll it out to keep mess out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Snug, functional tent I got to use my tent for the first time unseen. Very comfortable and has great features. Hard to put up by one person, only a small issue as there is always someone around to help

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed living area not double layered Bought this tent after original order for the 280 was cancelled due to unavailability of stock. We were told they were essentially the same tent so presumed living area would have insect screen or zipped inner layer like the 280. It does not which means living area not really suitable in poor weather as a warm sleeping area.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well thought out tent Bought this tent New Years Eve and set it up in the garden to try it out. Spent New Years Eve night star gazing through the roof light window tucked up in bed. Awesome! Looking forward to a long weekend camping break ASAP

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good tent but living room is not mosquito proof!! I brought this for a couple, but was very disappointed to find the main living area was not able to be made insect proof. Note: the bedroom is. I'm yet to find a place in NZ that is sandfly/ mosquito free so this makes it way less user friendly. It also means that there is only the one sleeping area, and so doesn't work for a small family. I had viewed the larger retreat 280 instore and was told this was similar but without the extra sleeping pod. NOT SO.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tent! I bought this tent about six months ago and it was an amazing investment. The bedroom in the tent is spacious and I love the overhead storage net. The bedroom is spacious enough to fit three Kathmandu TPU air matresses lying perpendicular to the tent. The addition of the storage lockers in the front of the tent is brilliant and they are very large. The tent is easy and quick to erect. Overall this tent is perfect for two or even three people with lots of space.
