Product Care

Please see the care label inside every Kathmandu product to understand how best to look after your new gear. Regular washing and following the care label instructions is important to increasing the life of your product.

Below are some care guides for caring for some of our more technical products.

Repairs

To ensure you get the most out of your Kathmandu gear, we offer repairs on many of our products.

If you have concerns about your Kathmandu gear or need repairs to be done, please return it to your nearest Kathmandu store or Contact us.

If your item needs to be repaired, our team of experts will assess whether it can be repaired and if that repair will incur a fee.

Any gear sent to Kathmandu for assessment or repair must be clean so please wash your gear before bringing it into store or posting it. Any gear that’s not clean upon arrival will not be assessed or repaired and will be returned to you. We will also contact you if your gear cannot be repaired or will incur any fees.

The typical turnaround time for repairs is 10 working days, but may take longer during periods of high volume, plus shipping between store and repair office.

Product Availability

You can check a product’s availability either online or by contacting one of our stores.

To search for a product online, simply browse our categories by range, product type, or activity. If known, you can also search by the product number (SKU) in our search bar and it will find anything related to this item. If an item is not available online it will be shown as ‘out of stock’.

We do not offer lay-by or back-order services on any of our products, either online or in our stores.

Some items, due to size and shape restrictions, may not be available for international shipment. In these instances, you will be asked to remove these items from your cart before your order is processed.
