Mummy

Mummy bags, with their wider cut shoulders and narrow feet are the most efficient when it comes to weight and warmth. These bags conform more closely to your shape and only require minimal body heat to warm up. They encase you ‘like a mummy’ and may be restrictive and less roomy than other bags.

Semi-Rectangular

Semi-Rectangular bags with their tapered foot (more room than the Mummy) and contoured hood are a good compromise. These bags provide ample sleeping space at the torso for comfort.

Rectangular

Rectangular types offer more space and are cooler than others, letting you move easily within the bag. Because of the larger top opening, heat can escape more easily.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hot/Cold I bought this sleeping bag with average expectations. What I found was a comfy cocoon that I didn't overheat in or feel the chill in either. Was particularly efficient during the 3am-4am temperature plunge that usually wakes me up but didn't.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Warm and good features I have had my other sleeping bag for a while and have loved it it is warm and has good features so that’s why I got a second one. The only thing I would say needs improvement is the bag it go’s in! The sleeping bag it self is great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sleeping bag I bought this 3 weeks ago. It appears to be warm. I also bought an inner and that is quick drying and comfortable. Though I am curious as to why the inner has not good to aid with keeping the sleeping bag clean.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent warmth as expected Light, comfortable and very warm. My partner has similar bag from another brand. And I could tell that this one was way to comfy to get me through the night without any issues. Whereas my partner struggled through out night complaining about feeling cold. So definitely recommend this.

How many zips does the sleeping bag have and can the bag be fully unzipped fully to act as a donner.

Asked by: Vangman
This has one zip down the side only and does not unzip at the feet however you can still have the side fully unzipped to use as a cover, but just the feet part does not lie flat.
