Managing Your Accounts

Kathmandu has two different types of accounts, Online and Summit Club that can be created and operated separately. To get the most benefits and a streamlined online shopping experience you will need to ensure these two account types are linked together, and that you are logged in when shopping online. 

We also offer the option of completing your transaction as a guest, should you wish.

Please find information on the types of accounts below, how to link your accounts if required, as well as how to update your details.

Online Account

Creating an online account allows you to track your orders, maintain your account details for a fast checkout experience and manage your communication preferences. It's easy to set up and allows you to:

  • check your online order history
  • update your contact details
  • enter multiple shipping addresses
  • change your interests and communication preferences

Guest

Online orders can also be made as a 'Guest'. However, if you shop as a guest your details will not be saved and you will not be able to view your order history after checkout.

Summit Club Membership

Summit Club is our membership and loyalty programme that gives you access to exclusive offers and rewards for only a one-off $10 fee, including:

  • Up to 20% off full-priced gear
  • A $20 Kathmandu reward voucher for every $500 you spend
  • Exclusive access to Summit Club Days, VIP offers, promotions
  • Early notification of sales and other promotions
  • Sponsorship opportunities for your next big adventure

To join Summit Club today just add membership to your shopping cart, along with the items you wish to purchase, this will activate discounted pricing and rewards.

When you purchase your Summit Club membership online, an online account is automatically created and linked at the same time. If you have bought your membership in store previously you might need to create or link to your online account to shop online.

If you have an existing Summit Club membership or bought your membership in-store you might need to create or link to an online account, this will enable you to shop online and activate Summit Club pricing.

If you need to create a new online account, please ensure your surname and email address match the details on your existing Summit Club membership. Your accounts will then be automatically linked.

If you are now using a different email address or have an existing online Account, you will need to login to your new (or existing) online account and from the Account Overview screen select the option to link your Summit Club membership. To do this you will need to know your Summit Club membership number and both accounts need to be created with the same last name.

To update your details online you will need to log in to your online account. Once logged in select the Edit Account Information link from the left hand menu to change your personal and contact information.

You can also manage your billing and shipping addresses from the Address Book link.

If you are an existing Summit Club member and do not have an online account, you can update your details by contacting us or visiting one of our stores and filling out a form.

If you have forgotten your password go to Forgot Your Password, enter your email address and click on ‘Reset Password’. This will generate an email to your nominated email address with a link to reset your password.
