Questions & Answers

Can I fit a 3 litre Kathmandu bladder in this pack? I note that the description states 2 litre but was hoping 3 litre would fit as well

Asked by: Michmon
You could squeeze a 3 litre bladder in, however it won't be at full capacity when compacted into a smaller sleeve. I would suggest going with the 2 litre.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect size and exactly what I wanted! I bought this bag for longer day/overnight hikes as well as a weekender bag for trips. It’s the perfect size for both and really comfortable - the outside pockets fit a 1 liter bottle each!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Was grateful every moment of the trek for this pac I bought this pack for a 4-day trek through the Colombian jungle and it was absolutely perfect. Myf avourite features were the hip belt with zippable pockets (perfect if your pants don't have pockets), security of the hip and chest straps, comfortable shoulder straps and multiple pockets for everything that were very intuitive to use. It was also extremely cool to wear in the extreme heat and humidity. I tried to pack as light as possible so there was loads of room for everything - I didn't have to squeeze it all in - and the water bladder was a perfect addition. I was so grateful I purchased this (even at full price - $225) and was complimented by others on how nice it was. I waterproofed and permethrin-ned it before using which I would recommend, and used a pack cover some of the time which meant it didn't get that dirty. I hope to use this on future treks and also for carry-on only travel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So many fantastic features There are so many things I love about this pack. I used it everyday for 17 days, trekking to Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Lakes in Nepal. I had no issues with it at all and I am now obsessed with this backpack. It was the perfect size for all the optional weather gear I could need and camera gear. I used a 2L bladder in the designated pocket for it and it was great. I also had trekking poles attached to the outside and they stayed in place. I loved the pockets in the waist strap as it was easy to access snacks etc without taking your bag off. The padding in the back of the backpack was really nice and not once did I get a sore back.
