Customer Reviews

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I had the original version and it was a great fit, so bought v2 in the same size. However it was slightly smaller so ended up giving it away. Very tight fix for a slim 6’ 3” 85kg

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Why bother ! Bought this jacket for hiking and Mountian biking, used it once. Found it offered no warmth what so ever and the fabric even felt cold against the skin especially since the thumb slits are so big they funnel the wind up your sleeve which is a bit silly as it's supposed to be a windbreaker. Not a mid layer not an outer layer so why bother. Positive point is that the sales person was very helpful when I returned it and gave a full refund. Others may like it I didn't. It's a shame as it looks great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great soft shell jacket that keeps the elements at I love the fabric and the fit of the jacket. it is light and stores away small - great for travel. I love the big chest pockets. easy to reach and plenty of room. I am missing side pockets , mainly to be able to slip the hands in when you are in a cold wind. if that could be added to the design I would give it a 100% without I probably give it 90%. still I am pretty stoked about the jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So surprised. Well it’s not a hard shell and it’s not a windbreaker but I took it up the mountains in Mt Cook, NZ. And my compadres wore hardshells and my jacket lasted longer in a 4hr downpour than theirs did. It was 65km/hr winds and all I had on underneath was a thin merino top and I was fine temp wise. It does let a bit of wind through but only if you’re stopped and wet would you notice it. Only negative the non waterproof materials at the bottom of the cuffs. Loved the position of the top pockets with a pack on. Maybe slightly too big. I carried my iPhone 7plus and it was a little sloppy. All up for a jacket that has other jackets that supposedly do its job better it has a place. Now the only thing do I leave the other two jackets at home.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Could be better for its price Bought this over a year ago. Can't say that I used too much or in rough conditions. Overall it's good and does what it's supposed to. "Accessories" however are not very durable. One of the tightening cords on the bottom teared after nine months of usage, which the shop fixed. The plastic piece at the back of the hood broke apart recently even though I never used that part. Overall I'd expect better quality for that price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super nice fit I used this jacket for a cycling trip and found it very comfortable for both on and off the bike. It has a super nice fit, it's light and the fabric seems very durable and wasn't affected by sparks from the fire at all. The front pockets are very useful, with accessible zippers and a hole for headphone wire. I normally continued cycling with light rain without a problem. One minor issue: the elasticated cuffs with thumb loops are a bit weak.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket got this new model of the terrno very soon after it was released, like the design a lot more than the older one. I use it as a rain jacket and it holds up well in moderate-heavy sydney rain even though it is only a softshell, it is more than enough water-resistant to get by. It also provides some insulation the inside so it makes a great outer layer when its not too cold, and the design is top notch/ looks how you would want a top-of-the-line kathmandu hiking jacket to look, the Zips are well place and contrast well with the blue and dark grey.
