Rated 4 out of 5 by from 2nd Time Purchase Last year (2020) I purchased the Andulo v2 jacket (in the Khaki colour) as I was looking for something light, but casual, whilst still having waterproof/windproof capabilities. This met all of my needs and has a very smart look. I decided to purchase the black Andulo v3 this year as I wanted variety in my wardrobe (colour wise). This jacket has the same functions I was after as the v2 design. In comparison to v2, there is no inside pocket in this jacket (which is a bit of a disappointment; why would you remove this feature?) and the hood design has changed and is now not tucked into the collar with Velcro tabs to keep it in, which I'm personally not much of a fan of. I prefer the design of v2 with the zip. The v2 felt more like a premium product. I purchased this v3 for $149.99 as my friend is a Kathmandu member. However I don't think I would pay $249.98 for this product knowing what last years v2 design was like. All in all though I am happy with the product. The quality is great and I would still recommend if you are looking for something light with a casual look. Because I have the v2, I would rate the v3 a 3.5/5 stars however from a once off purchase point of view, I have rated this a 4/5 stars.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not waterproof after a couple of hours in rain I bought this in March 2021 for a 4 day hike over the Milford Track. It was fine for about an hour or so of rain but quite useless for the 6 - 8 hours per day when it was needed. Disappointed because the shop assistant at Kathmandu Wellington recommended it as being waterproof for tramping. It would be fine for just walking an hour or so around town. But don't buy this jacket if you're doing any serious walking in rain.

Hi. Can you please tell me the key differences between Trailhead and Andulo? Are both windproof? Does one have higher water rating, breathability than the other? Thank you!

Asked by: BlairBear
The Trailhead and the Adulo are both waterproof jackets and therefore are both windproof. The Andulo Men's jacket has a waterproof rating of 10,000 m/m and breath-ability rating of 10,000 mm. The Trailhead jacket has a waterproof rating of 15,000 m/m and breath-ability 15,000 mm. The main differences are the features of the jackets.

Hi is this jacket seam sealed as such? Looking for a jacket to run in when wet and do like Ultra’s where a requirement is seam sealed jackets. Could you run in this jacket or is it not lightweight as such? Thanks

Asked by: TrailRuner
This jacket is seam sealed. For Ultra's we would recommend our Zeolite range of jackets for performance breathability.

My original question was, ‘is a carry bag included with this jacket’

Asked by: Persimon
No carry bag is included with this jacket - I personally like to roll it away into the hood, however this is not a specific design feature.

Is there a difference between this and the outer shell of the 3 in 1 isograd?

Asked by: Hendry1234
The waterproof (10,000) and breathability (10,000) ratings are the same for the Andulo and Isograd jackets.
