Customer Reviews

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poorly constructed After using it a couple of times on a trip it stopped working. Got a replacement which broke down also after just one use. It seems that this panel cannot stand the heat of the sun, the panels actually shift inside the housing when in the hot sun. Also it seems to be very fragile and cannot stand the stress of being in a backpack. Kathmandu has been great in refunding it but depending on this panel when in the bush is not advisable because it could well be that it is not working when you need it. When it is working it is a really nice panel with good output compared to weight but the fact that it's to fragile makes me not wanting to use it again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Didnt last long I bought this at the end of 2016 in preparation for walking El Camino de Santiago. I used it a little and off and on since but now, just over a year later, it is not charging. It's out of warranty time and I am so disappointed it hasn't been a great long term product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good buy portable Solar Panel Brought my Nomad 7 Plus on my South American trip but only able to use it once as I had enough access to plug in power. Used it on a sunny day in Atacama desert, charged my mobile phone with it-- a wee bit slow but otherwise satisfactory. Only owned this for a month so I'm yet to find out more hence the 4 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent rugged minimalist solar panel. Great product if you're concerned about size to power ratio. which I was. Extremely minimalistic. Although it weighed slightly more than I expected. Also as this was the only place I could find to buy it in New Zealand I was not surprised to see the price a little higher than it should be.
