Are these same with Arrowsmith II womens? are they waterproof? thanks

The Aysen has directly replaced the Arrowsmith's, meaning the design intention is very similar. Bear in mind though that the Aysen is an updated version, so some of the features are slightly different. One thing that is the same though is the Waterproof, breathable liner (ngx™), meaning in most situations your feet will be kept dry. We've had amazing feedback regarding the Aysen, so if you're looking for a great hiking shoe, then look no further :)

Can full orthotics be worn in these shoes?

They were super comfortable, my feet felt well padded and supported. They are good sturdy shoes however they are not stiff and do not need to be broken in. They will be perfect for any type of walking - day walk, day hike - on any terrain.
