Kids Packs Ergonomics
Various ergonomic studies over the last ten years have indicated that school bags are often poor for kids’ growing bodies in that the pack doesn’t fit properly. Kids are also forced to carry too much in their packs for school. This range has been designed to fit the average body size of each age group of children. Several groups were measured and all patterns for the pack harnesses were taken from that study. This included back length, shoulder girth and shoulder strap shape. The volumes (and therefore potential loads) have also been kept to the maximum we feel is comfortable for a child of that age to carry. If it is seen that a larger volume pack is required than our younger age grouping suggests, the three larger packs will still fit a small child better than an adult size daypack would.
